Billing Services
Are you thinking about outsourcing your billing in 2010? It could be the best decision you have ever made.
Physicians and Hospital administrators are becoming aware that ramping up the expertise of their billing process is a tried and true business decision to improve cash flow. The billing process has become a complex environment requiring:
- Diligent follow up of unpaid claims, resubmits and secondary insurance carriers
- Expertise in managed care contracts, fee schedules, PQRI’s and appeals
- Insurance carriers are steadily increasing the processing time of payments. A substantial time commitment is required in order to receive the maximum revenue of each submitted claim.
Rather than trying to maintain this level of expertise in-house at a cost of roughly 12 to 15% of collections it is becoming clear that outsourcing this expertise can not only generate a savings of 4 to 7% but it also frees up time for existing staff members to apply to patient care and collections.
The IBS Billing Staff
Our staff is comprised of a group of professionals who are dedicated to the task of submitting your claims within 12 to 24 hours and then diligently following up on every claim until payment is received. Our clients can easily view the status of their billing via any computer with an internet connection. Financial reports are automatically sent to our clients to provide an in depth snapshot of every aspect of the billing process.
Our clients are assigned an IBS team member to handle their account. This gives our customers the opportunity to develop a strong business relationship with their account executive and a point person to call when questions arise.
The billing process is the cornerstone of the financial side of your practice and the success of your billing is directly related to a strong cash flow. The IBS Billing team strives to exceed our customer’s expectations. We do this by focusing on the needs of our clients and by maintaining a courteous and professional relationship at all times.
The Best Part
Our billing software interfaces seamlessly with our CCHIT certified EHR software. When your practice is ready to expand to an EHR your billing team member will help you through that process.
