Testimonial
Dr. David Malave and I worked together at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. We decided to go into private practice together after our retirement from the US Army in 2006. A private practice start up offers many unique challenges for a physician. The first challenge is the necessity of setting up a new office and more importantly staffing this new office with competent and caring team members. Having been in the army for many years, Dr. Malave and I were both very naïve about the complexities of starting a business.
We were fortunate that one of our earliest and best business decisions was to hire IBS Inc. to manage the billing and coding arm of the new practice. From the beginning we were assigned a dedicated professional as our account representative. I am absolutely confident that our claims are coded accurately and to their fullest potential, and our representative insures that our billing is pursued until the last dollar is received. Additionally the Electronic Billing and Record System, which IBS has provided us, serves as a platform for both the Society of Thoracic Surgeons Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Databases. The IT support in helping us get these data bases up and running and keeping them running has been invaluable.
Our IBS account representative is an integral and vital team member for our practice, and she is a key component in the success of our growing practice. We have absolute confidence in the integrity and the professional capability of the IBS team.
